Today is the first day that I will have blogged! I’m so incredibly excited to share this experience with all of you. The purpose of this blog is to share my life, it’s a way for me to share with the world the things I go through professionally and personally, the experiences I go through as a wife, (I’m not the greatest wife, but I’m working on it!) I’m the mother of 2 teenagers, my daughter is 12 1/2 of my son is 14 1/2. Being the mother of two children, one boy and one girl, has definitely had its challenges, but it seems to be going smoothly and we are closer than ever. my children and husband have been nothing but supportive in this new journey.

I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to have this experience, I have no idea what kind of future this website holds, but I believe it’s going to be a truly enlightening experience! (Well, that’s the hope right?)

I will NEVER use stories I haven’t been given permission to tell. This is not a “rant” website. This is a positive, enlightening website. Some of the things I say you may agree with and certainly many of them you might not.

There are so many facets that are going to be available on this website, there will be links to pages that have inspired me, links to products I believe in, there will be an advice column (ask Bridget….SOOOOO EXCITED ABOUT THIS PART!) This website is designed to have so many different elements to it. I’m so excited!

My language may get offensive for some people, but sometimes I believe that certain language needs to be used in order to get your point across, you don’t have to believe that as well, I will never try to push my views on you.

I plan to share so much of my life with you, so I ask that you please be kind, I’m not finished growing yet…

I want to build rapport with my readers, therefore I will be sharing personal details of my life with you so that you can know me as a real person and not just a blog from a stranger!!!

“If you want people to be real with you you have to be willing to be ready for real in return….” (Ash Beckham, 2013).

I want you to know me, and in return I want to know you, however let’s start with me, so you will feel more comfortable sharing your stories. Sharing can be a very scary thing!!!! Right? I know you agree with me!

We’ve all been in that place of judgment, and it’s really unfortunate, because we’re all just living this life in the best way we know how! I don’t believe that you have to agree with every person, but I do believe that judgment should be set aside until you know the entire story. let’s face it, we all judge in one way or another, we judge how somebody looks, dresses, etc. I’m not going to sit here and say that I never judge people, but I try to be hyper aware when I am doing it so I can pullback.

This could be a seriously long blog post as an introduction, I will save the rest for future blogs. ☺️
